Adulteration Reagents: The Scientists at Sciteck and the company it evolved from (Chimera) have been providing liquid reagents to laboratories for specimen validity testing in urines specimens submitted for DAU testing since 1989. Sciteck has the most extensive patented and patent pending SVT® adulteration reagent line in the industry. The SVT® line consist of assays for pH, Specific Gravity, Nitrite (Non-Corrosive), Aldehydes, Oxidants, Chromate, Creatinine, and Halogens (bleach). All 8 assays are liquid reagents for use on automated chemistry analyzers (e.g. Hitachi, Olympus, Beckman, etc.) and all produce quantitative and / or qualitative results for each analyte. Sciteck also provides complete line of integrated controls and calibrators.

(Automated Urinalysis System)

The AUTO UA ® System by Sciteck is a user-friendly, automated analyzing system for the quantitative and semi-quantitative analysis of fifteen (15) analytes in human Urine.  The system includes tests for pH, specific gravity, ketone bodies, beta-hydroxybutyric acid, bile acids, blood (Hgb), leukocyte esterase (WBC), nitrite, micro-protein (total), glucose, bilirubin, urobilinogen, creatinine and electrolytes (Na, K and Cl).

Adulteration Test Strips: The AdultaCheck® series of dipsticks are used for the visual determination of specific gravity, pH, oxidants, creatinine, nitrite, aldehydes, chromate and halogens in urine to assess the integrity of urine samples prior to Drugs-Of-Abuse Urine (DAU) testing, in order to determine if the sample has been adulterated.  The AdultaCheck® series of dipsticks are not for use in diagnosing disease or illness to effect treatment, and/or cure; it is for investigational use only.
